This special whiskey would've been above our pallets... or at least our bank accounts, back in school! As a Wabash alum, I, David Weglarz, made this whiskey especially for the Wabash College Class of 2003. This special single barrel entered the barrel in Fall 2019, young and innocent as we were back in the fall of 1999. It will emerge transformed - as we were by our college years - in the Spring of 2023. And bottled at 103proof... because '03 Rules!
Outrageous moments and legendary stories, from pledgeship to Senior Comps, it was an incredible four years at Wabash. No matter where our paths have led, we are bonded by that shared time and place. This rye whiskey was made exclusively for the Wabash Class of '03 and aged 4 years. May you enjoy it with old friends as you relive treasured memories!
Tasting Notes: Earthy spice wrapped in a soft caramel on the nose, warm oak elevates the bold rye while a cool, herbal piney note brings balance to create a smooth mouthfeel on the palate, fades into a vanilla & cinnamon finish.
